Thanks for taking the time to chat with SIW. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your blog.

Febina : I am a 25 year old house wife, a mother of 3. I blog at febiscookbook.blogspot.ae.  A foodie blog started a year back. After taking graduation in Maths, I got married and then started my cooking expedition, when I flee to sharjah, UAE. Since then I love cooking and experimenting new dishes. My blog is one loaded with different recipes which I try at home. I try to cook good food and if it turns out well I surely takes snap of it and post on blog.

What makes your blog so unique and why should people read it?

Febina : Like all food blogs it has quite a number of good food recipes. But I try to give the best and good recipes to my readers. Most of the recipes are easy to make and something people like to try in their everyday life. Also I love to introduce new set of dishes to my blog. I am still in a study and would love to explore more.

How often do you blog?

Febina : Depends on my mood and availability of time. It’s really hard to find time in between these fussy tantrums of my kids, yet what motivates me to cook and blog is purely due to my passion.

What has been your most successful blog post to date and what was it about?

Febina : Carrot laddoo, coconut barfi and chocolate delight recipes are some of them.

What do you find most challenging about blogging?

Febina : To present and express the best out of your stories and recipes.

What are some of your favorite author blogs and why?

Febina : http://shabscuisine.blogspot.ae/ and http://chefindisguise.com/… These are my favorite ones with quite a good collection of good food recipes and attractive presentation.

What advice would you give to young women readers of SIW who want to follow a similar career path as you?

Febina : Women sacrifice all her talent and skill to bring up her kids and sometimes loses herself. The biggest role and duty as a mother is definitely to mould the future generation which is not easy and requires hard work too. But at the same time women should try to find some time to pursue her dreams even in a small way if she can at least from her HOME.
